Cleaning up the oil spill – with love

I switched off CNN a few hours ago, shortly after President Obama’s address to the American nation about the oil gushing into the Gulf. I just could not take any more of the bickering between Republicans and Democrats, the sensationalising of the media and the general negativity and fear surrounding this accident. There must be another way, another approach to fixing this “problem”.
“Love is the answer” I remembered. And so of course the Universe just gave me the tool to actually demonstrate and BE love as the answer – a beautiful prayer from Dr. Masaru Emoto, the Japanese scientist who wrote “The Hidden Messages in Water”:
“I send the energy of love and gratitude to the water and all the living creatures in the Gulf of Mexico and its surroundings.
To the whales, dolphins, pelicans, fish, shellfish, plankton, coral, algae, and all living creatures . . . I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you. “
